I have read an article where is stated that George Peppard was making up to $40,000 per episode. Mr T $80,000 pee week Melinda Culea apparently earned $15 - $20,000 per episode - yet still complained and Mr T told her that was a "sore winner".
I wonder what Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict were paid? Not.just through sheer curiosity, but because, well frankly: I really liked their characters. I even cried when Murdock was shot in curtain call, asking my mother if he'd survive (I was six at the time, come on!!) I'd like to think they were ok....

I would assume they were making at least as much as Melinda Culea and likely more, but I don't know what they were making. I'm kind of surprised that Mr. T was making double what GP was making, if that source is correct. But Mr T was probably the biggest "draw" for viewers to start watching the show at least initially, due to it being sort of the height of his popularity.
And welcome to the forum!

Can that tell us anything about how much they got paid?

Is that only 1 hour of overtime or 10? It's hard for me to read it. Must be one hour, since it is only $318.10. If that is double pay, then that would mean only about $159/hour. So if they worked a 40-hour work week, that would be $6,360. Would that be all that they would have paid Dwight in 1983? Or maybe I'm not even reading this right.
Still, $6,000 a week for people at other jobs would be amazing even in 2024!

I'm still amazed main actors on a tv show had a time card. I never in a million years would have thought they did. I thought it was a per episode paycheque, not per hour.

I also would think they would be contracted and paid either per episode or even salaried. Maybe being paid by the hour did kind of protect them, though, as they would at least get paid overtime.
So for movies, do you think the main actors have time cards? Or do they just sign a deal to make a movie and get paid a flat rate?
