They cut some of the Decker part? Do you mean when they are re-capping the antics of the team when Lynch was after them or some other Decker stuff? I think the Decker stuff (other than the re-cap) is really good, and I would not want any of it cut.

I love those end credits! I like those credits too. Same ones also used at the end of The Battle of Bel-air and Say It With Bullets. I'm definitely not complaining but wonder why it was reused for both of those episodes? Honestly I think it fits those two ones actually really well. Season Four had the best outro music imo.

I think I have a VHS of it somewhere and you don't really get the same long introduction to Decker.

I watched this episode on re-runs here in the UK probably back around very late 80s into the early 90s and it wasn't until a few years later when the dvd boxsets came out that I noticed.. 1) when Decker makes his entrance chasing after Hannibal and Face when he and his men slip on the ice cubes all that was cut and not shown, 2) the same goes for the entire car chase sequence which follows what I've just mentioned, all this was never shown on the UK re-runs so I'd say a good 15 minutes of material wasn't included so when I first saw the dvd sets i was watching certain episodes in full for the first time because it wasn't just this episode what was cut for tv...

I think I was referring to the ending credits where they show the clips from the RANGE RIDER episode. So maybe I don't really mean the "credits" but the images shown while the credits were running?

Oh, I was actually referring to the music they used at the outro.

I rewatched this one at the weekend, it's another fantastic episode. S2 has a string of really excellent eps after the weaker premiere. I don't think I've watched this one many times before, but I remember parts of it so strongly - mostly Murdock's scenes I suppose and also Amy and Daniel - but there's a lot of the ep I don't remember at all. Having read through this thread it looks like it was heavily cut during repeats on TV over here so that's probably why. I can see why it was a feature length ep - they spend a lot of time introducing Decker which would have taken away from the main storyline if it had been a normal length. It's weird because I kind of think of Decker as being a stickler for the rules and that's why he's so determined to catch the team, but the way he's introduced here gives him a completely different angle. Hannibal's disgust that Decker was responsible for bombing hospitals during the war is quite clear and it makes Decker seem like a really nasty adversary. It's a complete change from the general buffoonary of Lynch. It's a shame they used footage from other eps to supposedly illustrate some of the team's previous missions. This was only the start of S2 so it's quite silly if they expected us to have forgotten we've seen it already and believe it was actually footage from 5+ years earlier? This is the first ep where they really show Face's ego compromising his common sense - and his and the team's safety. It's a theme they return to occasionally, most notably in MIND GAMES, as we've discussed. I love Hannibal's bemused expression when Face just doesn't get why having his picture on the front page is such a stupid idea! I love all the cowboy scenes with the team, though. GP and Dirk are obviously very comfortable riding horses, Dwight too I think, but Mr T not so much! Also it looked like Melinda was riding well herself - unless her double was a particularly good match for her. Talking of the doubles, they do show up a lot in this episode and they seem to have forgotten to try to hide their faces - just who was that old man letting all the horses off the train? Certainly not the Hannibal I know!

Yeah, that is funny too how it keeps cutting back and forth from real Hannibal to fake Hannibal if I remember correctly!
The part about Face and his picture on the front page is so funny.....all he's upset about is that it's a bad photo of him! So typically Face....

I watched this one yesterday with Dirk and Dwight's commentary. They both say it's one of their favourite episodes - nice to know they enjoyed filming it as much as we enjoy watching it. It's so funny to hear them reminiscing although they struggle to remember a lot of the details, but I can't blame them, it was a long time ago! They do talk a lot about the stuntmen and it's fun to see them pointing out when the stuntmen take over in scenes when it's not obvious - it's even more fun when Dirk isn't sure if it's really him or his double in some of the scenes! Dirk says he enjoyed being able to demonstrate how good he is at riding a horse in this ep - you can definitely see how comfortable he is in the saddle. Then Dwight commented that he wasn't very good at riding himself - he definitely hid it well because I thought Murdock looked perfectly at ease on horseback. Dirk made me laugh commenting on the rather loud shirt he had to wear when the others all had much cooler outfits and I love that he said he has photos of the scene when the four of them put on their bandanas and walk down the street to square up to the baddies - it's one of the best scenes in the whole ep. They both have nothing but praise for Lance LeGault. It sounds like he was an all round great actor, singer and a really nice guy too.

That's so nice that they talked like that about Lance LeGault. I wish I could get those DVDs with the commentary (and be able to actually watch them!). I'm glad they enjoyed this one, especially since it is always my favorite episode!

Welcome to the forum, ally79! I thought the end credit song, at least on my DVDs, is just a lengthened version of the theme song with some variations to the style.

In answer to the question, two posts above, I do believe the end credit music includes "YOUNG HANNIBAL" (which was the title on the CD I had of A-TEAM music for the music also played during the montage scene of this episode) and also the thing I call "BA'S THEME" which may have been the name for that music also on that CD.
I watched this one (both parts) again tonight. It has been a while, so it was even extra-special to watch it again tonight. Never fails to entertain me. However, I was thinking about this - if all those explosions and gunfire was going on when the wild horses were on the train, wouldn't they be freaking out completely? I guess they would already be freaked out just being rounded up and put onto the train and then the train itself would be loud and bumpy, but I just wonder if they would have injured themselves out of their fear.
Also I think that Stryker may have said "Calvary" (where Jesus died on the cross) instead of "Cavalry" when he said "there ain't no cavalry in this picture" to Hannibal...
And we've probably discussed this before, but the paperwork that the major shows to Col. Decker from the Department of Defense about the A-Team says that they did something "really naughty." Funny!

I would like to hear commentary or read things from others who worked on the show....whether the props department people or those people whose names are credited at the end, if they have any good stories to share. I always still want some kind of interview with the stuntmen, if they are even still alive.
