This really is a terrific episode, and a much better "movie" than the actual A-Team movie. There's so much to love here. Daniel Running Bear is one of the show's best clients and it was cool to see him getting in on the action. Decker's intro kicks major ass. Dwight is an awesome singer. Hannibal's fight with Stryker on the train made for a terrific finale. It's just a blast to watch, although I'm not sure the concept warrants a two-parter. But, at least it's never boring.

Yeah, if I want to watch an A-TEAM movie, I can always just watch this episode....

I was putting on my belt this morning and thought of this episode and cracked up. I love how Face is running from Decker and goes into the store and asks if he can try on a belt.

And how he has to go into a private area to try on a belt. I just try on belts right there in front of everyone!

ETA: This one is interesting in that they give Daniel a hard time about why he should be able to hire them. That's not usual, right, that they're almost arguing with the client and making the client talk them into helping?
From my notes when I watched: Well, we have just dispensed with several racially-insensitive comments right away... *cringe*
Once again, Amy shows up in white with pretty nails to do dirty jobs and comes out completely unscathed...
Um, yeah, even I know that strapping dynamite to an arrow is going to mess up its flight a little bit... plus, now Amy's so good at archery that she gets to blow up train cars and stuff? What is it about Murdock in that shirt? *fans self* I don't get it. Also, his "cowboy walk" is adorable.
Have you guys actually read the file that Decker is holding? It's pretty funny: "Aledged [sic] suspects on or about June 15, 1978 did willfully and knowingly do something really naughty." LOL that's our team!!! View AttachmentAnd notice that Face and Hannibal are listed under their legal names, with nicknames listed after, but B.A. is not... Didn't they also misspell "alledged"? Is it with two Ls or one? Alleged. Two Ls, no D. I wonder if they misspelled it on purpose, or if the person typing it just couldn't spell. While this is not my favorite episode, I do enjoy it. Me too. I love that Amy got the guy in this one, I love Murdock talking to his horse, I love Hannibal making B.A. eat the cold hot dog, I love the end... wanted to know what was in the grease. What *was* in the grease?? I feel like this went right over my head. Range Rider has some good moments but I did not love this one. With this episode in particular, I think this would've been better as just one episode. Curious how the editing and direction were to differ if that were the case? It has great atmosphere i'll give it that. I have to admit that I'm not sure why they picked this plot for a two-parter. Not that it's bad, it's just that it doesn't seem out of the ordinary. Like, it makes sense to me that episodes like "The Sound of Thunder" had two parts, or even "Curtain Call." This one... not so much. (Maybe I should start a thread: "which episodes do you think should've been two-parters?") Hannibal's disgust that Decker was responsible for bombing hospitals during the war is quite clear and it makes Decker seem like a really nasty adversary. It's a complete change from the general buffoonary of Lynch. Yes, exactly. I like the fact that Decker is a badass, but not that he's an not a very nice person. (I mean, I like what that bit says about Hannibal. But I still have this urge to want to like Decker. Maybe it's because he's a no-nonsense badass rather than a buffoon; I don't know.)

I always assume that it is some kind of manure based on the way it looks and apparently the way it smells and how Face reacts about it, although seems like Amy would know if it smells like manure.

Okay, that's what I would've thought, too, but it seems odd. (And why would they put manure in grease? That sounds maybe like a Murdock thing, but not the rest of them. I'm not sure what the point of this bit was.)

I think this was mainly manure, not actually "grease" but apparently it was greasy enough to get the job done.
