apparently Stephen J Cannell's daughter Tawnia is co writing the new series. You'd like to think that if anyone would work hard to keep any new version at least true to the heart of her dads original show it would be her.
I messaged her directly yesterday to try and get more information so will let you know if any response comes through

Yeah, with her on the job maybe it really could be good! I'm just too much into the original and even if SJC himself were alive and writing a new A-TEAM series, I'm not sure I would be happy about that.

I like that about him too, he's a bit like that with the Team also, although not quite as much with BA, coz he knows he's really tough. Obv Face & Murdock are capable of looking after themselves, they are A Team members after all, but Hannibal seems to be a bit more concerned about them at times. I agree, it's nice to have a man look out for you. Even if you sometimes think you don't need it, it's nice just to know they're there.

Like I said the movie wasn't horrible, at least Dirk and Dwight made cameos, ( they offered T one he felt the movie was to violent) But from what I have read about the Greatest American hero reboot ..it's gonna be bad, It's gonna be on ABC ..not a good sign since the original was NBC

I remember watching Mr T in an interview with a talk show host called Wendy something. She reminded. E a bit of Oprah. I Don't actually know her, she must be known in the US I presume. He said, "I don't do seconds"! He said he loved the show, that he the time of his life doing it & it was their show, his, George, Dirk & Dwight's & if he couldn't play B.A he wasn't going to do a cameo as somebody else. I know he wasn't keen on the film. I had to laugh when then the actor who played B.A in the film was put out that Mr T never contacted him or met with him, like Dwight met up with Sharlto Copley. Mr T barely sees Dwight & Dirk these days, so he had no chance! 😁

I guess they don't plan to make any more A-TEAM movies or they would have done that by now.
