We watched this last night. The boys said they love the A-TEAM, but they didn't want to watch.
The two clients were beautiful and the older sister reminded me of an older sister to Jessie Spano from SAVED BY THE BELL. They have very similar looks to them. I wasn't thrilled with the meet the client scene. It would have been nice to have one of them dance with Face. I was surprised that they both seemed to find him so cheesy, especially after all the cheesy lines in the opening scene. (I know the cigar was meant to be dangerous, but it didn't do anything to the fish in the bowl. My wife told me it could still be bad for them. Bad, maybe, but not dangerous or immediately hurtful).
I like how it was Face and Murdock who talked the team into going to Florida. They started singing and Hannibal just smiles. B.A. was ready to beat the bad guy up anyway. Even though Hannibal didn't want to be in another situation where they weren't getting directly paid, I love how he goes with the flow when needed. Good show of a leader.
I always wondered if they did go ahead and pull the tooth or cap the tooth when B.A. was in the chair. They might as well since he will apparently be out for hours. (I wonder how they got him on the plane this time). And why didn't B.A. wonder where the van was? If he drove, wouldn't he drive his own van? I also hate that he said it would take 3 days when he did it in 36 hours in PROS AND CONS.
The changes Face makes to the hotel always make me laugh. The whole hotdog scene, especially. He wipes off all the mustard to add just a dot. Why waste all of that just to prove a point? My wife just shook her head because he's stingy on most things, but he's giving out free drinks. I love how Face is saying he has to do everything himself when the older sister didn't know about the wet T-shirt contest. I like how Hannibal told them that it was for their benefit and why. The younger sister seems to have this dawning of realization on her face. (She seemed to overact a little).
The bad guys and the reasons why they were doing it bored me. I didn't really care for those scenes. I think the train gag is funny, but corny. I do like how Hannibal had the foresight to hide the paperwork, almost as if he expected to be captured.
Face pretending to drown was funny, although my wife cringed at the goofy way he was acting after they got out, begging them to help him, etc. The bodyguard we will see again in Season 4, so it was fun to recognize him here. The girlfriend seemed to enjoy having Face around and set the date, but then turned on him. I was a little surprised they tried something that blatant, especially since she had been at the hotel and likely SEEN Face. She should have known who he was already.
The gadgets were fun and it was nice to see them building something again since the last four episodes of Season 2 didn't have those montage scenes. (This felt like one of the longer montage scenes to me).
The tag scene was eh to me. The burgers and pig's feet made no sense. I like that the older sister apologizes to Face, but I wish she would have called him Face. To me, Mr. Peck seems stand-offish. At least Face seemed to endear himself to the younger sister. B.A. finding out is great, but why only attack Murdock when all of them are to blame? Especially Face since HE took him to the dentist? Does anyone notice Face more or less laughing while trying to keep B.A. off Murdock?
Not my favorite episode, but it was fun and easy to watch, especially for we gear up to finally get rid of Tawnia in the next episode.
