...for all those fun things you want to mention, but don't need their own thread.
I have a friend who lives near Murdock St., which is one way to get to her street-- I laugh every time I go that way.
On a rollerskating subreddit, someone was mentioning an episode of CHiPS with roller skating. Hannibal (well, pre-Hannibal) shows up (with-- wait for it-- a much-younger woman on his arm...): youtu.be/fh5GdUY00-k?t=51

Hey, what is Dan Haggerty doing there!?! He was the "love of my life" back in the day (when I was probably in about 3rd grade)....I used to want to be Mrs. Dan Haggerty. I guess I thought I would live in the mountains and be friends with every wild animal. (If you have never seen GRIZZLY ADAMS, you won't know what I'm talking about!)

On Rupaul's drag race All Stars, they were doing the Snatch Game, and the queen impersonating Bea Arthur was asked 'Where's the strangest place you made whoopie?' And she answered: 'George Peppard's pool house.' Rupaul then went nuts laughing and asked if the whole A-Team was there.
It's at about 5:07.
I laughed so hard myself because the reference was so unexpected. It made Alexis Michelle my favourite now. I hope she wins just because of this!

Nice!
I have to admit that I also learned the other day that GP starred in "Breakfast At Tiffany's," which I didn't know. (No, I've never seen it. I don't watch movies that often, so there are many, even classics, that I have to admit I've not seen. And I likely didn't recognize him from any photos...)

Found this quick clip of an interview with Boy George about him being on the show. (YES, I know, I'm still the only one who loved him... hey, still better than Frankie...) www.youtube.com/watch?v=duhlHGe9rHE

Thanks for sharing that! Interesting that GP apologized for everyone's behavior. I wish we could have more stories from Boy George about his being on the show. I actually kind of enjoy Boy George in that episode, and I was not even a big Boy George or Culture Club fan even back in the day.

I thought it was interesting that it was GP who apologized, too, because from what I've read, it seems like he was one of the worst on that front. I would've loved more dirt on exactly what was going on...
I've never been a Boy George/Culture Club fan either, but man, I did love him in this episode. When he kicked that door down, that was it-- I was his, man. He got so into it, which was what made it. I still think he should've been the Amy replacement rather than Frankie. (But, I know, it wouldn't have worked... hard to stay in the underground when you're running around with Boy George, lol*. He's a bit well-known and also a bit distinctive... I wonder how he and B.A. would've gotten on, lol. Murdock would've loved him. Face likely would've rolled his eyes a lot.
*though I almost want some non-canon-type episode with Decker going after him, hahaha. Decker would spend the whole episode like, "...wtf.")

In CHOPPING SPREE, Sam Friendly's girlfriend/secretary wears a distinctive knitted purple-ish top.
In TROUBLE BREWING, the same top is worn by Face's secretary in the ad agency.

Something I've always wondered... in the show, why do they throw so many southpaw punches? None of them are left-handed, right? Is that in case they accidentally connect, they're hitting with their weaker hand? Or is it that the picture has been reversed?

I've never noticed that either. I always feel like the punches look realistic, although of course I realize that they cannot actually be punching out people. Maybe I'm just easily fooled.
P.S. It would be interesting to know if / how often someone actually did get punched accidentally when filming the show.

Some of the punches look pretty fake, but others not so much. But, fight coordinators are pretty good at making them look real (probably more so now than in the 80s). That's the only reason I can think of, though, for them frequently throwing a cross with their left hand-- in a real fight of course you wouldn't do that.

On my way to my friend's house today... of course I went up Murdock St... parked on it was a car with the license plate "DWIGHT." I couldn't help but laugh. It was just too perfect.
