I am not sure about Jennifer Aniston. Amy was attractive, but not so over the top attractive as Aniston tries to be. I think someone with a quieter beauty and grace would work well there. If she wasn't on CHUCK, I think Sarah Lancaster (Ellie) could work there.

Michael Weatherly (NCIS) might be a good thought for Face. I am not sure about Rob Lowe. Greg Kinnear did a good job as Bob Crane...maybe he could play Hannibal? Aye, that's the fella. I guess some of this depends on that age range they're looking for. amyk. Personally I don't want to see a Hollywood re-hash on a much loved show but I'm not letting it stop me speculate on who could play these roles. Woody Harrelson & Jim Carrey as Murdock? God NO. Mel Gibson as Hannibal? NO

I think it would be best to take a bunch of unknowns....if they are great, then wonderful. If they aren't great, maybe nobody will see the movie and thus we'll preserve our beloved memory of the A Team. ;D

That's about a happy a medium as you could get. Or maybe an indie movie at Cannes?

Depending on how Gibson played Hannibal, it could be doable.

I tend to agree. Mel Gibson has the right amount of swagger, the blue eyes, and the right amount of craziness. Plus he's the right age now.

I think the actors should be as far away from the originals as possible. Then the movie could be something more than just a copy...

They could "Starbuck" the cast completely and do...
...an all-female A-Team!
(That would be interesting, to be sure.) ;D

Oh no, that might put Dirk Benedict over the edge....he might have to go to the psych ward for real if they did that...can you imagine what he would say to it? And I would probably be in total agreeement with him!

A girl A-TEAM....it's not a bad idea, but it would really just be CHARLIE'S ANGELS all over again.

HD, you are right. That's what came up to my mind when I read about a female A-Team ;D But I think there is already a remake of this one, so they need to make some money on another profitable title.

For me,
Mel Gibson or Clooney should play Hannibal Christian Bale or Orlando Bloom or Michael Weatherly for Face Robert Downey Jr or Jim Carey for Murdock
As far as BA goes...... I think Ice Cube should be good or Tyrese Gibson

I think Ice Cube should be good or Tyrese Gibson I'll put my votes in:- Clooney (if the movie tanks at least he's something to look at). Bale not handsome enough, Bloom too girlyman so my vote goes for Weatherly. No more rappers in films, stop trying to be down with the kids. :-/Gibson

Robert Downey Jr ...for Murdock That is one actor I actually think could pull off our beloved HM, with the right amount of gravitas and humor. Glad someone else mentioned him!

I know I've banged on about this but I swear the more I watch NCIS the more I see Face in Michael Weatherly.
