I can only say one thing about this item... Why didn't DS ever do this? Oh, yeah, he's not "cute enough." This is from the year I was born, incidentally. ;D

I would feel weird if I saw this kind of photo of DS.

I want to know who the guy is in the middle of the magazine cover. And the way they have the headline about Shaun Cassidy makes it look like they are asking if HE could love a married man, but I think they must be asking the readers if they could love Shaun Cassidy if he got married.

Another totally cheesecake DB item. Is it just me, or is he not the only guy who "played himself" on TAT?

I think maybe the only one who DIDN'T play himself is Dwight! Maybe there is yet hope that we can get the remaining TAT members to make a fitness video based on Hannibal's workout in DEADLY MANEUVERS! ;D

They'd have to include the zip-line part. DS did at least play the intelligence within himself as Murdock. I don't think he'd ever play a downright ignorant character, but I know he could.

;D More cheesecake DB! Yahooo! I wonder what DS was doing at that time? Probably acting in a Chekhov play or something.

I really don't know what to think of it. It may sound weird but somehow it makes him even less manly than he always seemed to me.

I kind of agree with Mosame....I now think it is strange for these guys to have photos like that put into those teen magazines. BUT I have to admit, those magazines like TIGER BEAT (and apparently this one is called TEEN MACHINE) were all the rage back in the day. And when these people are newer to "the business" I suspect their lives are basically run by agents who talk them into all this strange stuff. So I just accept it for what it is and am glad that TAT was a show about REAL MEN and not teen idols! ;D

I never much liked anything fancied by large numbers of teenage girls. Strangely enough, I had a dream the other night about that lead guy from TWILIGHT, which is all the rage, though I've not seen the movie or read the books. Basically he came up to me and asked if I thought he were attractive. My response (in the dream) was to start sobbing and say "B-but I wanted Murdock!"

It seems like I tended to have crushes on people most young gals would not - like I wanted to marry Grizzly Adams and loved the guy who played him (Dan Haggerty). That was because I wanted to go live among the animals in the mountains! ;D Then I also liked the "wrong" CHiPS guy! Not Erik Estrada, who everyone else seemed to love, but I liked Larry Wilcox, who played Jon. I even wrote him a fan letter and got an autographed photo of him. ;D And generally I will tend to focus on the "second banana" character - often a not-so-good-looking-but-funny guy. Like I prefer Cosmo over Don Lockwood in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. I prefer Nathan Detroit to Skye Masterson in GUYS AND DOLLS. And I liked the character of Riley in NATIONAL TREASURE more than the Nicolas Cage character, whose name I cannot even remember! Maybe that was why I liked Murdock so much when the show was new.
