Sidney's Rating Scale - I gave this an 8. It is a great episode - some of the things I loved Face looking good in his leather jacket Murdock is adorable love that Murdocks great scheme to get out of the VA is to run like heck love Murdock singing to Amy in the car love Face and Hannibal - they interact together so well - their back and forth and timing is awesome love Murdock's teasing BA about being blood brothers loved that the team went back to help even though the MPs were coming
what knocked this episode down a point for me: didnt like Murdocks blood lady thing at the jail or the chicken impression didnt like Hannibal locking Mo in the closet - seemed unnecessary
also I wonder if BA or T had been hurt or injured while this episode was filmed which is why he was in a wheelchair the entire time - he really didn't have much screen time in this one
ok - your turn......

I give this one a 7 on the Sidney scale, i.e. very good, entertaining, and can watch again. I took off one point for Murdock not being with the team on their mission, one point for BA complaining so much about how Face "messed up," and one point for Murdock's chicken thing, which I don't like.
I think BA had to be in the wheelchair because of his injury. I suppose it's possible that T had hurt himself in real life, but I tend to think it was just more to go with the story.

Yes, I forgot about Murdock not going on the mission- Murdock should always go. I'll bet if Murdock were there BA wouldn't have gotten shot - things always go better when Murdock is there - sigh

I believe I once saw or read an interview that mr.T had actually sprained his ankle or something like that.

Do you think that was for this episode, though, or possibly for THERE'S ALWAYS A CATCH, since in that one he really did seem to sort of hobble around? However, he did move more probably in that one than in this one. But it would have been completely unrealistic if BA had bounced right back from having such a major injury and needing blood to being able to be up and around tossing bad guys left and right....and of course THE A-TEAM is never unrealistic!! HAHAHA!

What's Sidney's rating scale again? This is one of my favorites from S1 and although I don't have time to watch every week, I'll try to find time today to watch this one!

Ah I need to watch this episode again, but from the top of my head: I LOVED B.A. rhyming after getting blood from Murdock, and then being scared the heck of it. The Amy/Murdock scene in the car was sweet. Like they were in a good friendship. Murdock, or Dwight, seemed to be really having trouble pushing the guy around in the wheel chair. I think B.A. really was heavy with all that gold, hehe. Am I right? Was the chicken scene by Murdock improvised by Dwight, and left in? If so, I wonder what those actors, playing the bikers, thought of it. Probably scratching their helmets ("er...was that in the script??") I kinda love that Hannibal finally met a woman of his own caliber. A woman who was, for a change, not dumb, blonde and pretty, but besides a pretty doctor, also clever, strong and brave. Not afraid to kick some ass, even though she didn't have to do that much. But I am happy she returned in that other episode later on, in which the A-team is taken out by another commando one by one. Can't remember the title of that one. But I think it's one of the last episodes from season 2. I always wonder, regarding the episode 'Curtain Call', if they managed to get to this doctor to give Murdock blood after being shot. The same way they did for B.A. in this episode. That would be a perfect place for him to recover without the police finding out. I might be able to watch the ep. later on tonight. Just my 2 cents. My rating: 8

But what are all your thoughts on Hannibal locking her in the closet. I can't think of a logical reason why he did that - she wasn't going to try and stop them from leaving - she was basically on their side ( I think) The only two things I can think of are: 1) he didn't want her going to the jail and releasing the sheriff right away 2) if he thought that the Barbarians were coming to town - maybe he thought locking her in the closet would keep her safe Just my random thoughts - what do you all think?

Thanks LadyJay, Well, I think Hannibal just isn't sure if he can trust her yet at that point. She just betrayed them, though she was in fact being a good citizen, reporting them. They both feel that they are attracted to each other, but Hannibal must realize that he hasn't really given her any good reasons to trust him. The fact that he just had to escape from jail (which was of course thanks to her), probably doesn't really help make him less suspicious to her. Plus she knows that the A-team are refugees now, though she doesn't know the whole story and seems to be still in doubt about what is true or not. She DID help them giving B.A. a blood transfusion, because she probably didn't have much choice. 1) Because Hannibal and Face are two military guys with guns, so if she would refuse, they could probably force her anyway. 2) She is a doctor who wants to save her patient first. Hannibal locks her up so she won't be able to call the police or military to give any more clues about their whereabouts. Only he realizes later that he put her in danger by locking her up, when he sees the big motor gang, ready to plunder the town.

Meh, he looked her in the closet because that's what you do after you steal a kiss. Gotta ascertain control and power over her. She was actually as close to developed as a woman character ever could be on the show.
You know what I was thinking, Guys? Maybe Mo and Maggie aren't the same character. Never have they had a guest character return before (until the Hulk). What are the chances that Maggie in MANEUVERS and Mo in BAD ROCK aren't the same character?

My rating: 8 I like that theory that the team took Murdock to Doc Sullivan when they escaped from Decker in CURTAIN CALL! And then BA could "pay back" Murdock by returning some blood to Murdock!

The chances are slim to null, in my opinion, given that they both are named Dr. Sullivan and both live in Bad Rock. I don't know why they changed her name to Maggie.

Mo was very different from Maggie though. MO was a spitfire. Mo and Hannibal had chemistry. Hot chemistry. Maggie seemed like a fashion plate who was a little more romantic. MAYBE THEY WERE DOCTOR TWINS!

What's interesting is I checked the cast list for this episode and it lists her characters name as Dr Maggie Sullivan. But no one calls her Maggie in this episode -just Mo, right?
I like the twin theory - it could be used to explain lots of the times the same actor played different roles : Jack Ging played twins Captain Stark, the corrupt and evil cop and General Fulbright
Ed Lauter plays twins Sheriff Hank, the by the book Sherriff and Dougie Kyle, the evil mercinary for hire
Markie Post plays twins Leslie/ Sister Teresa and fashion model Rina
Also interesting how the actors played such polar opposite characters.
