Haha, I had a laugh at the twin theory. If Mo and Maggie are twins, Hannibal is a very lucky guy having his dirty fantasies come true. A twin trio yay Just kidding. I personally think the names are just another little mess up. The series itself is quite consistent with making mistakes most of the time. Maybe someone wrote down that her name was M. Sullivan somehwere. Another writer picked it up, thought it would be convenient to use this character again, and named her Maggie without bothering to look it up. It's fun to think up of these theories. But I am convinced it's meant to be the same character. I understand the series were written by different people all the time. I guess they didn't really keep track much of what was already done, so that's probably why the character is written (and played) a bit differently too. There are so many of these little errors, plot holes and inconsistencies most of the time. Plus they are about a year later in time in story (I assume). Things can have changed between her and Hannibal, regarding their romances. Can't be bothered with these mistakes though. The main characters and their interacting with each other save it all for me.

I like that theory that the team took Murdock to Doc Sullivan when they escaped from Decker in CURTAIN CALL! And then BA could "pay back" Murdock by returning some blood to Murdock! Thanks AmyK Haha I love AND hate that 'Curtain Call' episode! I think it had so much potential if they hadn't added all these useless flashbacks. They could have used that air time for refining the episode. (If I want to see flashbacks, I just view the show again). I think it was an 80's thing. They did this with more shows. I still believe that, if they had worked out this story better, it would've been such a great ep. in my opinion. And a great development for the characters too (Although we get to see bits of that already of course). So after watching it some time ago I started thinking about the bits that are missing and thinking of possible reasons and solutions. Why wasn't there a emergency kit in the van? What happened after they escaped. Did the road blocks just vanish? And how and where do they give Murdock a blood transfusion without it being suspicious. Etc etc. I have this whole theory, just fantasized of course. But it's almost like a game, filling in the (plot)holes. I realise I am going off topic a bit. But I somehow always hoped that Curtain Call could be interlinked with this Bad Rock story in a way.

There is a distinct possibility that Murdock didn't need a transfusion. He is walking wounded for a good part of the ep and doesn't seem to be bleeding that much. He just got an infection going on, he's not bleeding out. BA got hit in the upper leg where there are a lot of big veins and arteries. Now we know his artery wasn't hit because he would be dead. But a vein can bleed a lot too but is easier to stop.

not to deviate from the Bad Rock discussion but as far as Murdock needing blood - I would only go by what they said in the show and several times they mention that he is weak and needs blood or that he lost a lot of blood. I would imagine considering it was the 80's and knowing lots of kids watch the show - they wouldn't show lots of blood. Its kind of nice thinking that BA returned the favor and gave blood to Murdock. By Doc Sullivan, of course

I feel weak when I cut my finger... But then again, I'm not a member of the A-team now am I. hahaha I still don't understand why BA could only get blood from Murdock, but I guess the writers didn't know this either.

I can only imagine Murdock having fun after recovering. Telling everybody how strong he is while flexing his muscles, and calling everybody a fool after receiving B.A's blood, ehehe. Anyway, back to the original episode talk I guess Nance regarding the blood. B.A. and Murdock have a rare type of blood. And it's not easy to get by. So that's why the transfusion was needed in this episode

I've been watching DEXTER lately. He's AB- too, and needed his father who had the 'rare' blood type to donate to him, too. I read what you said before, Nance, and that's what I always heard as well - that AB- was rare, but they could be given anything. It's O- people that can ONLY receive O-.
I'm O-.

When Murdock was the 'blood lady', didn't it look like he was coming on to the biker?

When Murdock was the 'blood lady', didn't it look like he was coming on to the biker? Yes - I hated that whole part - it was creepy and weird. I usually skip that scene all together when I watch. I rather watch the chicken impression and I dislike that too. My guess is that's what Murdocks intent was -what would infuriate and insult a big burly biker more then having a guy " come on" to them? He was trying to get under his skin.

I don't take it as Murdock coming onto the biker...just Murdock being weird and basically telling the biker that he's going to get shot by Hannibal and need blood with the way he's acting.

haha no, that part is toe curling to me too!. But he's just messing with the biker's mind and giving him a fair warning that the future might involve a leakage in the veins, hehe. The biker being a very masculine man, using big words, acting tough, is being approached by a guy who kinda acts feminine but in quite a disturbing way. That might give him the creeps allright. I wish Murdock did it a bit more subtle though. Would be more fun to watch. Like I said, slightly toe curling

The part that I do think is hilarious though is when the biker says to Hannibal 'You're nuts man'. And that Murdock immediately cocks his head. And you just 'know' he's going to do or say something. Just to defend his nuts-hood perhaps. Offended that he didn't get the credits for being nuts.
Also something I liked. H.M. trying a taste of the paint. Did he do that for real? Makes me wonder if it was improvised (like was he really trying the paint - and it was really tasting bad), or maybe they simply put something in the bucket that wasn't paint but white cream or something. But I guess it was staged, because they actually zoom in on him.

And very different from a stock villain. Also something I liked. H.M. trying a taste of the paint. Did he do that for real? Makes me wonder if it was improvised (like was he really trying the paint - and it was really tasting bad), or maybe they simply put something in the bucket that wasn't paint but white cream or something. Kind of the reverse of the rule how food on screen that isn't actually eaten isn't edible.

I finally had the time to properly watch this episode. I liked the blood lady, BECAUSE it gets under your skin. That makes it brilliant. That is some god awful toilet paper though.

I love that toilet paper! Maybe the best part of the whole episode for me is when they put up that toilet paper wall. Maybe that's the kind of toilet paper tough guys like our team use!
