I was thinking Hannibal at the end of "The Sound of Thunder," but yeah, there are other spots, too.
(Which just made me wonder which Hannibal one sees in wartime. I could see him being somewhat flippant and downplaying danger to try to keep the guys under his command from being too afraid, but I could also see him being super-serious back then and only getting more careless (as in, "does not care," not as in "uncareful") afterward-- again, because nothing in civilian life measures up-- IOW, "Eh, what're you gonna do; I've seen worse.")

He essentially says that in one episode, I think BEND IN THE RIVER, when he says something like "you can't do anything to me that I haven't seen at another time in another jungle." (not sure that is exactly what he says, but that is the general idea)
Also, in BAD TIME ON THE BORDER, he says something similar, when he is put inside that little tin building to sort of "cook" in the hot sun. There, I believe he says something about surviving in Vietnam, so I think he figures this treatment is nothing compared to what he already faced.
