Jo,i had seen that when it first came out, and laughed pretty hard... Of course, they wrote the van out in the first 10 minutes of the movie, so maybe it was just foreshadowing? Just because, I bought the toy A-Team van on clearance at Target, so now my figures can go on joyrides. ;D

I know most of you all liked the movie.....but that's the only A-Team movie I would want to see! Maybe they could have just spliced together scenes from the series to make the movie. Nah, better yet, they should have just released WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK RANGE RIDER as a theatrical movie. I would have paid big bucks to see that on the movie screen in a theater! ;D

Probably only if you could make some way that I could not watch the regular series unless I saw the movie.....then I would have to capitulate, I guess.

Hmm... *wheels in brain turning wildly* That gives me a great idea... course we'd have to hire some one to do the kidnapping... JK... It's not as bad as you think it will be...

That's part of the problem, doc. I don't want to like any other A-Team. So if I liked the movie, I would be mad at myself and feel like I betrayed my guys by liking another A-Team. If I hated the movie, I would be mad. (Well, okay, I'm already irritated they made it, so maybe it wouldn't be any worse.)
All in all, seeing it is a lose-lose situation for me.

It has it's differences and if it makes you feel better... they kept a lot of the jokes in it. I'm a person who avoids remakes and the like but this one impressed even me. If you only watch the movie once... we'll stop hassling you about it. you don't have to watch it ever again but that one time.

Why is it important to other people that I see the movie? I'm curious about this phenomenon..... I don't even usually watch the free movies on the airplanes. Last week I spent 10 hours on a plane and could have selected a movie from about 50 different movies, but the only one I cared about I had watched on the flight going to the U.S. on 1 July, so I did not even watch it again. The one movie I cared enough to watch? CASABLANCA. And if they ever make a remake of it, I can pretty well guarantee you that I won't see it, either. But I admit that one of my all-time favorite movies is a remake.....BEN-HUR. But I have never seen the original silent version.

Amy--you have to watch it ONCE. C'mon, just out of loyalty to the franchise. I promise the original guys won't care if you "cheat" on them. LOL.
I remember avoiding the new Battlestar Galactica for the longest time. But now it's my favorite series. I still love the old one...it's different is all. It's exciting when the new one kind of gives inside jokes/nods to fans of the old series--which the A-Team movie does as well.

I have to agree with Celine here Amy! We all went against our judgments and ended up at least tolerating it.

I can't see it anyway now. I'm back in Africa and I seriously doubt it is playing anywhere near me. And since the DVD is not out, you can wait until it comes out and then start harassing me to see it on DVD if you want. Hmm....maybe I'll have to make a deal with everyone and come up with a movie that I want to force all of you to watch in exchange for me watching this one. ;D

I'm game... as long as it ain't r-rated or I won't be able to see it. I think that's a fair trade.
