The only thing that bugs me (and it doesn't really have anything to do with the movie)...the thing that bugs me now is that sometimes, when I read fanfiction...I picture the new team instead of the old team and it's really bugging me because I definitely prefer the old team over the new team. That means you're just not watching enough A-Team. Agreed. ;D But Amy will tell you that there is a fan forum viewing that allows you to get into the spirit slowly of one episode a week.

So basically, movie!Face was the equivilent of Frankie? My main problem with Frankie was that he was a mix of the guys instead of being an entirely original character. Movie!Face was just that!
Hmm, i think i may have found the question i want you to ask, Sidney. Could you find out what Dirk's opinions are of his movie counterpart?

I wouldn't mind. I could listen to either of them the whole time. If he wants someone to talk to and just look at him adoringly, I'm the man for the job!

I absolutely love the movie. And I loved it more the more I watched it. My husband and I must watch it at least three times a year. I think it was great action and hilariously funny and true to the characters. I have the special edition On DVD and it is so much better than the theatrical version. For instance, they have the cameos actually in the movie where they belong. I'm so distraught that they're not making a sequel. I disagree with everyone about Face. I love Bradley Cooper's Face. I thought he was really funny And that he even had a couple Dirkesque expressions. The jarring thing was that they made him an adrenaline freak and of course our Face is the opposite of that. But realistically, what special forces guy would be terrified of everything And completely useless at fist fighting? You have to be an adrenaline freak to be doing their job. I actually thought most of the funny lines were his. I find it ironic to not like the movie for plotholes when we watch the series. Lol! Actually, what were they? I'm not sure I really noticed many?

You enjoyed how they met by coincidence? Why was Murdock in a VA in Mexico?

Sure. I didn't mind That they met by coincidence. I think some things are fated. I have met people by stranger coincidences than that. In real life!
I'm not sure if they addressed why Murdock was in Mexico. But if he was serving over there and had a breakdown, Or was deemed dangerous then I don't see why he couldn't be held there?

See, I can easily understand that Movie!Face is a lot more realistic today than our Face is. Can you imagine a prim and proper bloke like Face, who also seems to have developed a severe dislike for physical violence, being Special Forces? That was the fun of it though. You wouldnt expect a suit to be like that lol.
Maybe we cud put Movie!Face's adrenaline junkiness down to the fact that he was dumped by the girl of his dreams. I mean, when Face was dumped by Leslie, he ran off to Vietnam. Maybe Movie!Face is what Face was like in 'Nam? My word, i think my eyes may have been opened a little.

Nah, I still don't much like Movie(!)Face. It didn't work for me.
Do you ladies find Bradley Cooper attractive at all? I did when he was on ALIAS (The main character was Sidney! I loved that!). But I don't anymore. Maybe it's the fact that Will on ALIAS was just such a nice, sweet guy, and Bradley Cooper has played so many jerks on the big screen since (HANGOVER anyone?)

No, it didn't really work for me either - I'm trying to humour myself.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that I do not find Bradley Copper at all that attractive. I've yet to see a film with him in that I actually like, I tried to watch Hangover but I couldn't get into it so I switched off.
Honest to God, my ideal man would be someone like Face (minus the lying, cheating and stealing I suppose...). I generally go for that type of look, which would explain my dislike of Bradley Copper, who in the opposite of that.

I don't think I've seen him in a movie I liked him in either.
Now, the actor that played Murdock? He was perfect! He was too perfect. I loved him so much. I wish he had more to do in the movie, to be honest!

I do find Cooper adorable. I didn't know him before I saw that movie, but I think he's very cute. (Dirk Benedict perfection? No. But honestly, I almost can't think of a male who looks that good.)
Bexii--"See, I can easily understand that Movie!Face is a lot more realistic today than our Face is. Can you imagine a prim and proper bloke like Face, who also seems to have developed a severe dislike for physical violence, being Special Forces? "
That's exactly why I think they made him an adrenaline freak. I don't think it would play to today's audiences or fit the tone of the movie to make him that soft.
Weirdly Murdock was the one character I WAS a little disappointed in in the movie (although he has since grown on me.) So I have the direct opposite opinion of everyone else. Weird. Movie Murdock felt like ACTUALLY crazy to me. (functioning lunatic, like he was described). Series Murdock I feel I could let babysit and you'd come home to find him playing superhero with the kids with blankets for capes. Movie Murdock I feel you'd come home and find him in the basement teaching the kids to set fire to things. LOL. Harmless versus Dangerous.
I still like him, but I found his difference more jarring to me than Face liking the jazz. I really truly thought Face had a LOT of the funny lines in this. He cracked me up!
Face: Boss, how did you know the door thing would work. I mean how'd you know it would hold his weight?
Hannibal: We tried it in Argentina, remember?
Face: Yeah, but that was with a midget.
ROFL.
Hannibal: Don't worry.
Face: Do I look worried?! If I was worried I'd be stapling myself to the container right now! *staples himself to container*

Here: I have a couple of things to warm you guys up to Bradley... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOXW7ZHyR7g Inside the Actor's Studio. He's so adorable. At least watch the first 10 minutes of the interview. He cries over his Grandma. <3 And really gets choked up at 8:10 minutes into it talking about his teacher. I love sensitive guys. Also these Bloopers are hilarious www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbjgTHGfpkEAnd if you don't kinda like him after these, there is no hope and I give up. ;D

I wish he had more to do in the movie, to be honest! Sharlto Copley is awesome. You should watch District 9! And his new movie coming out in August....ELYSIUM ....I can't wait to see it! He plays a really really evil guy named Kruger.

I don't think that DB's Face is soft. I think he just likes to whine about stuff, but I think he is tough as nails. But was perhaps even more so in 'Nam, as the situation called for it.
