Recently I saw this movie and I don't like it at all. First of all I don't like the idea of plot: three interesting stories in one movie. Too many other charackters: Lynch, Morrison, Sosa (Jessica Biel)... The plot was... twisted - first Mexico, then Iraq... Germany, L.A. They could made three movies - first - The A-Team meets each other and made friends, then - mission and the trial, third - escape and investigation. The A-Team movie plot was so fast - we can't even know better our heroes. Action - shooting - action - schooting. Second - characters. Hannibal was... sad. Where is Peppards "naughty boys" smile? And, for worse, why the hell he not made last plan? In the end he was completely silent, hided. B.A. - too soft, too nice. Murdock - good lines in scenario, funny and nice guy - but where is Schultz's expression? Movie Murdock most of the time have one face - smiling lunatic. And Face - for me worst of all. Bradley Cooper is handsome, but Dirk were handsome, delicate and charming. Cooper is to "hunky", too tough for Face. And his behavior - Face in tank will be scared, he will start to pray or search for parachute (I jump for help ;P), NEVER smiled and shooting. When I watch this, most of the time I think - "no, it's impossible, this guy cannot act like this, not match for me at all". As action-fantasy movie it was good, but not as remake of The A-Team. For me, of course.

I did not see the film, but I have read quite a bit about it, and that really sounds disappointing to me that Hannibal didn't make the plan. I know he does not have to make the plan in every episode, but for something like the movie, I think he should be the one to make the plan. Perhaps one day I'll actually see the film, but my heart is not really in that, so I don't intend to make any effort to do that.

I was really mad when I watch the ending. Murdock dissapeared too. I think, that it was Faceman show - good looking hot hunk with cool lines in script, brave and... little crazy (yes, my Buźka crazy, of course, lol!). Thats way I never "bought" Frankie charakter - he was too cool, too pretty, too funny.

Yes, I think the movie was probably a vehicle for Bradley Cooper, and maybe they were promoting him as the primary star of the film.

I think I said in another link about this, that all the characters were mis-cast in the film. Bradley Cooper was handsome, but he didn't have Face's charm or charisma. I liked the guy who played Murdock, but his character was under-used. And you're right Ukyo, I missed all Dwight's wonderful facial expressions and mannerisms. Liam Neeson (as much as I admire him as an actor) should never have been cast as Hannibal. He didn't even get to make the plan at the end! And no-one could possibly play BA except for Mr T. Just goes to prove how iconic the TV show was and how it should NEVER have been re-made.
Was okay as an action film, although I did get a bit bored with the plot because there was no human element in it.

When we taling about BA, I think that hes role was easy. Sorry for Mr.T fans, but hes acting usually was: angry face and low tone of woice. I like BA as he was, by the way! Sorry, but facial expression of Rampage was too "nice" - kind, nice, little sad big guy. The plot was interesting - pacifist BA - but it will work better with someone with Mike Tyson face. Murdock role was good, but to small. I think, that mostly the scripters made good job here (no offence to mr. Copley, he do good job).

SO The Movie..... OK I was doing my internet radio show when news broke it was finally being made and actually got a release date. SO it was imperative that we as the cast of the show went together. None of my boys had any interest in The A-Team other than using them to make me mad. They would all go off on tangents bashing the show and get me madder than a wet hen.I still think the only reason my darling husband redid the A-Team theme to fit our show is because I was the host of the show lol. (Plus it was dang funny ) So the day came we all got to the theater and the guys put me in the middle of them Jason (my husband /producer) on my left and Stuart on my right Which I knew I was in for it since every other time we went anywhere I like being on the outside. (I am diabetic and have to pee a lot )
The guys actually liked it because really the only A-team experience they have is through me. Jason had seen all the eps because he bought me the DVD's and our Player is in our room so he was kinda stuck. Stuart grew up on a farm with religious parents and wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid. Stuart watched from a former Marine stand point. He is a weapons expert ( that was what he did in the marines) and he is a gun nut. I spent the whole movie mumbling "Wait that's not right" then I would tell them both the history. The whole Lynch thing confused them. As it did me. JAson was sad that never once a 2x 4 went through a window. I did like the end. I wanted more Murdock. Shipley said in an interview that he was a huge fan and loved DS. I think it showed in his character.
When we went back to work that Friday I even got to review the movie with our movie reporter. Although there was much ranting from me as the night went on because they boys thought it was hysterical that Muttered so much and jumped in my seat when DS and DB showed up. It made me miss GB the most though because they should have done it back in the day and had OUR TEAM do it.

I believe they was bringing it back in the 90’s, but then George died and so a full reunion died with him. I still say something A-Team like should be done now, with the 3 guys. Anything really!

I suspect Sidney means ShadowWalkers fictions. They are Face based and well written but she causes Face permanent disability in most stories. She has just started posting to archive of our own and has all her stories on her website shadowwalker.com. Neverness I think has Face going back to being a sniper for Stockwell to free the team. The whole start is engrossing and amazing then Face loses the plot, self mutilates and ends up a cripple a brain damaged, that bit is not fun. In another story he ends up disfigured, half his face burnt away so he becomes a recluse. Shame as the stories are great until she destroys Face. Another very emotional one Hannibal gets dementia and Face cares for him but verybrealistic as Hannibal becomes dangerous in the illness while Murdock and BA move on with their lives, I think that Inge made me cry it was so true to life. Due to the gruesome permanent ends she has for Face I tend to scan the last page to see if she has killed or disabled any of the team before I try reading her stories now!if you don’t mind that sort of ending all the stories are well written and realistic

I got it wrong, friendships choices is the title. Face takes a solo mission to act as sniper and kill three men. In return Stockwell will hand over the teams pardons. The story is so well written I recommend reading the start. If you don’t want to be left with a bitter taste and depression stop when Face starts smashing his own hand (that pulled the trigger) to smithereens. The sniper part of the story is very believable and engrossing. Yeah it’s seriously depressing at the end, Face can’t even walk without falling over. But writers and readers do like excessive Face whumpage thou this author likes to make it permanent.

shadowwalker.com does not come up with a site with fanfiction. Is it a different website?

shadowwalker.com does not come up with a site with fanfiction. Is it a different website? shadowwalker.infoThou due to size and colours it’s easier to read her stories on archive of our own.
