I'm watching this one now. Just about finished. It's not really one of my favorites. I don't understand why the team talks so much about things in front of Ginger. It's as if she is their client, instead of someone who helped the bad guys. How do they know she is not going to go and tell Eddie Devane all about them? Or don't they care? Murdock's schtick as the reporter doesn't come off as good as some of his better personas. I'm only giving this one a 4 on the Sidney scale.

I thought the baddies had as much as big a part to play as the 4 guys in this one. I think the story's quite good. I always love it when the baddies, before they know they're up against the A Team think they're just going up against some wannabe heroes and think they can easily get the better of them coz think they're tough guys. Then they don't know what hits them! When Hannibal lands in the garden and nearly gets thrown out, what was his plan? Coz he didn't know the girl was going to write him a note for help and that was what made them take him back in.I f she hadn't wrote the note, the guards wouldn't have found anything and they would have thrown him out. So what was his point of being in there in the first place?! Was it just to see if the daughter was there?

Hmm....not sure really. Maybe it was just to make sure she was there. In a way, then, it seems good that he got caught with the note so that he was able to stay with her.

That's just what I thought, it's a good job he did get caught, otherwise he would've been in the same position as before he went in. Maybe it didn't go to plan, maybe he was expecting something different once he got in, a bit like in THE A-TEAM IS COMING...episode, when Murdock lands inside the Russian consulate, that seems to go perfectly to plan. Where as in this, Hannibal lands in the garden, has a chat with the baddies, then was going to get thrown straight back out again. I never really understand what he was hoping to achieve by landing in there. Unless, like I said it didn't work out, so we don't actually see what he was planning.
BTW, I love the A Team IS COMING episode, one of my favourites! I think it's good when Murdock just stands there, pretending he can't hear the guns firing around him. If I'd have been acting that out I think I'd still have jumped, even though I knew it was coming! How clever BA is in pretending to nearly run him down to tell him he needs to play deaf! Bet Murdock wondered what the hell's he doing?! 😁 I never realised when a I first saw that scene that that's was BA was doing, letting him know. It only dawned on me a couple of minutes later! 🙄

Double Heat has gotten better on repeat viewings. I found Faces mustache a nice little cheesy touch but also thought Double Heat has this laidback approach to the story. Same goes for Largo and Devane, Largo is one of the most chill badguys in the series while Devane comes off a bit more aggressive. I love the goofy Murdock and here he's nothing different. The beginning starts off a little slow but otherwise this is a solid episode.

I'm just curious as to why they decided for Face to have a mustache, like if Dirk had to have a mustache for some other role he was appearing in or what....or if they just wanted him to try it out on the Face character.

Double heat was always one of my season 3 favourites, but as Amyk says i don't get why Dirk/Face had a Tash throughout this one, the only episode in the series where he does? Maybe it was Dirk's idea to try a slightly different look but would Cannell and crew agree with the change? Maybe the actors had more say in what they should wear/look by this point in the series??

I wonder if anyone has ever asked Dirk about it at one of those conventions....or if he could even remember why he had the mustache in that episode?

I watched this one recently and wondered about the moustache too - I was hoping one of you might know why he had it. Apart from the one throwaway line from Murdock (something like "You don't look like you with that line of hair on your lip" ) it wasn't even mentioned. I agree with Murdock, by the way!

I wonder if maybe Dirk was filming something else at the same time where he needed to have a mustache, but it seems kind of weird if he was filming something like a movie in the middle of the busy A-TEAM filming schedule.

I thought this was Face's disguise when he goes over to the gym to get some answers out of that muscle-bound dude?

But he wore the mustache throughout the episode, right? So I didn't think it was supposed to be for a disguise....like in IN PLANE SIGHT, he wore the fake mustache when he was pretending to be the doctor, but only for that part of the episode.

I always assumed that it was something he was trying outside of the team. I think of RANGE RIDER where he had his own scam going that had nothing to do with the team. I just assumed this was part of that act and not necessarily tied to the character for this episode or the actor.

But do you mean that the character Face was wearing the mustache for something outside of this episode or that the actor Dirk was?
