Lance Legault can also be seen playing guitar at an Elvis concert that my mom had on either a DVD or VHS tape....probably on a VHS tape. I don't know when or where that concert was filmed.

Agree there are a lot of A-Team actors in Knight Rider. From the KR first season I remember seeing Don Stroud/"Deke Logan" in the biker gang ep Good Day At White Rock. The actress who played the daughter in WEST COAST TURNAROUND also appears in an early KR ep set around an army base. On a tangential note I have just a very young Lance Legault/"Col Decker" playing the guitar in the back ground while Elvis Presley struts his stuff in "Viva Las Vegas". Cool film actually. Decker is in the pilot for KNIGHT RIDER. Oh yes, I remember now Legault in the KR pilot. He was a busy actor wasn't he. He had a recurring role as a military officer in Magnum. It may have been why LL was not available for the the two A-Team eps where we ended up with Briggs in FIRE and the return of Lynch in SHOWDOWN. Speaking of which, there is an Incredible Hulk ep where both LL and William Luckling/Lynch share an extended scene in a cabin. I remember thinking at the time that it would have been perfect if Jack Ging had been there too.

I googled this and it turns out LL and Elvis were friends. Found this interesting short interview with LL www.elvis.com.au/presley/lance-legault-interview.shtml

(I didn't have time to read the article). And I have LeGault's album.

I also need to make a correction. Now that I think about it, I believe that LL was not sitting there playing a guitar at that Elvis concert, but maybe something like a tambourine!

Daphne Ashbrook, who played Patty Sullivan in ROAD GAMES (the daughter of the gambler who ran the children's home with him) was on the PERRY MASON TV movie that I just finished watching. The whole time I kept saying that I knew who she was but I could not place her. Had to look her up on IMDB, but once I realized that is who she was, it was obvious to me!

Dirk Benedict was the bad guy in an episode of WALKER, TEXAS RANGER. I posted about it before so I'll just copy and paste it here:

I would like to see that ep. Was Dirk able to carry off playing a villain? I can't imagine him as a bad guy.

Yes the interview mentioned that LL was Elvis's stunt double in at least the first film that LL did with the King. It also confirms that he played the tambourine at one Elvis concert! I listened to one of LL's song on YouTube. Not bad though he's no Joey Scarbury :-)

I would like to see that ep. Was Dirk able to carry off playing a villain? I can't imagine him as a bad guy. He was okay, nothing special, not much to really say about his performance. Very middle-of-the-road. I've seen villains on the show that make me go, "Wow, this guy's awesome/terrible!" but with Dirk I just kinda went, "Yes, that is Dirk Benedict playing an evil government agent." Dwight Schultz was also in an episode, but I haven't seen it and I don't know what he does in it.

Dwight plays a fairly believable bad guy, or at least he did in that Perry Mason movie I watched recently with him in it. I don't know that Dirk can pull it off. Dirk's type of bad guy would need to be one that you totally don't suspect. A really evil but charming guy. Maybe a Ted Bundy type of character.

I saw Dana Elcar in one of the KNIGHT RIDER episodes last night. He was one of the main bad guys, so it was nice to see him be out of character as opposed to what we saw both times in THE A-TEAM.

I don't want to start a whole new thread, but maybe I can make this fit into this thread.....if you can consider an airplane to be an "actor"! This afternoon I caught a portion of the old show called "AMEN!" (Sherman Helmsley's venture post-JEFFERSONS) and for some reason the main characters of the show were up in an airplane. The pilot was unconscious (or dead?) and one of the characters had to land the plane....when the plane landed, it looked to me like it was footage from THE A-TEAM's silver plane (the same plane they seem to use in multiple episodes, like IN PLANE SIGHT and HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS) making a slightly bumpy landing!

Interesting take on the thread Amyk! It got me googling the planes, and I stumbled on this amazing site. It's basically IMDb for planes and helicopters. Loads of pics and very precise information about individual aircraft. A-Team page link is below. impdb.org/index.php?title=The_A-Team_(TV_Series)

Wow, that site is amazing! I'm not so into the vehicles and airplanes but what a treasure trove of information is on that site for anyone interested in the planes and helicopters from the show. I love your description of the site as being "basically IMDb for planes and helicopters," and I think that pretty well describes it.
